Hailing from the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas, Kalaya Sibley's journey is one that resonates with the power of words, and the drive to enact meaningful change. Growing up Kalaya's early exposure to journalism and politics ignited a passion that would become the cornerstone of her purpose-driven life.

With an unwavering conviction that "To be Black is political," Kalaya embarked on a path of self-discovery that led her to become a driving force for change and amplification of marginalized voices. A proud graduate of Dillard University, the oldest HBCU in Louisiana, Kalaya not only achieved academic excellence but also garnered numerous accolades that underscore her commitment to advocacy and service. Her recognition as a White House HBCU Scholar, an AT&T Dream in Black Rising Future Maker, and features by renowned platforms such as Rihanna's Savage X Fenty and The Washington Post speak volumes about her dedication to her community and the causes she champions.


Now a distinguished member of ForbesBLK and pursuing her master's degree at Syracuse Newhouse, Kalaya's ambitions continue to soar. Her aspirations to pivot into law school stand as a testament to her multifaceted approach to enacting change. As a visionary, she envisions a future where her passion for effective communication and legal acumen converge into—a public relations and legal affairs firm. Through this entrepreneurship venture, Kalaya aims to collaborate with diverse entities, from businesses to cultural movements, from politicians to entertainers, to create and execute global communication and marketing strategies that transcend boundaries and unite communities.

Her evolving skills in crisis management and public relations make her a valuable resource for entities in need. Guided by the wisdom of the African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together," she fosters genuine connections that bridge gaps and foster unity.
